Bobby & Kayla's Elopement
Eagle, Nebraska
The setting starts on an unusually warm, winter day at a cabin out in the middle of the woods in Nebraska. It’s early morning and Bobby and Kayla have started their day by spending intentional, uninterrupted time with one another before their elopement that afternoon. The morning is filled with hot coffee, snuggles, and giggles. There is no pressure to rush, only to rest in each other’s and the Lord's presence. As the morning fades away, Kayla and Bobby depart from one another for a short while and start to get ready. As the anticipation grows for their vows to be spoken, so do the butterflies. The moment has finally come, the moment they will finally be united as one. They make their way on to the front porch and have a seat in some old wooden rocking chairs, wordless vow books in hand. Bobby kneels to help Kayla put her shoes on– a foreshadowing symbol of the servant hearts that will be displayed in their new life together. They write their vows, secretly smiling at the words flowing from their hearts onto the pages. Soon, they are standing before one another on the back deck of the cabin, vow books full. They share their tender, lasting words with one another and finally seal their vows with rings and a kiss. To celebrate, they come inside before the sun starts to set and the cold air bites. They celebrate their new found life together over candlelit dinner.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
